The Japanes word for tearoom - Sukiya - originally means place of fantasy. All attention is focused on the place, the things and people you surround yourself with. The tearoom becomes a protected space with a special atmosphere, a refuge from the chaos of the world. Tea is one of the oldest cultural drinks of mankind and is being drunk all over the world.

The publication “Tea” traces the magic of this unique refuge. Across cultures and centuries, on the traces of special places and interesting personalities, Asian minimalism and oriental opulence meet without contradiction.
