2023: DN A Semmering, Villa Schönthaler, Semmering
Local plants are used to create a sensual and atmospheric approach to the cultural landscape of Semmering in the changing times. Based on a traditional idea of this place due to its stereotyping as a high altitude/climatic health resort and sophisticated meeting place, the search for traces is guided by the awareness of permanent transformation through climate change, environmental and temporal factors. Determined by the season and the respective knowledge it is an expression of an individual conception of this place, or of sensing what once manifested its reputation and still resonates.
